Our health assessments involve a range of tests which provide an in-depth analysis of your health, fitness and general well-being; our aim is to detect subtle changes early so that potential health problems can be identified and addressed.
All health assessments include a 30 - 45 minute consultation with a doctor, where examination findings, tests and specific problems are discussed.
Essential Health Assessment
General
• Up to 45 minutes consultation with a doctor
• Full physical examination
• Personal report and health action plan
Tests for chronic disease prevention
(i.e. Hypertension, Diabetes, Heart Disease etc)
• Blood pressure and pulse measurement
• Body Mass Index Calculation
• Heart disease risk score
• Kidney function test
• Diabetes blood test
• Calcium blood test
• Cholesterol profile blood test
Tests for cancer prevention
• Full blood count and iron levels
• Liver function test
• Urine test
• Stool occult blood test
Comprehensive Health Assessment
In addition to the Essential Health Assessment this includes the following:
• Thyroid function test
• Prostate cancer blood test (PSA, for men over 50)
• Cervical Smear test (women)
• Lung function test (spirometry)
• Electrocardiogram
• Hearing test
• Vision test
Mammogram (women over 40) and other additional tests can be added separately where clinically appropriate
